Compare websites
Use the domain view to see which websites are cited most often and how many of their pages appear as sources. A site such as Reddit may have many different cited pages. Open the individual URLs to see which ones matter to your questions.Find the pages behind the answers
Use the URL view to inspect individual articles or pages. Open one to see the prompts it appeared in, then open an answer to read what AI said. A citation does not guarantee a brand mention. AI can use your page as a source without naming your company—or mention your company using another site’s article.Choose what to improve
Look for pages that answer questions you want to be known for:- Your page is cited, but your brand is absent: check whether the page clearly explains your product and its relevant strengths.
- A competitor’s page is cited: read it to understand which useful information your own content may be missing.
- A third-party article is cited: check whether it accurately describes your brand.
Understand the metrics
Citation rate is the percentage of collected answers that cite a page or domain. Mention rate for a page is the percentage of answers citing that page that also name your brand. For example, if your page is cited in 20 of 100 answers, its citation rate is 20%. If 10 of those 20 answers name your brand, its mention rate is 50%. Use the same dates and engine filters when comparing results. See Understanding your metrics for aggregation and filtering details.Turn an insight into content
