ChatGPT Ads

Gauge’s ChatGPT Ads tool gives you visibility into the paid advertising layer inside ChatGPT, including what your competitors are running and how your own campaigns are performing. It’s the intelligence layer you need to understand and operationalize ads within ChatGPT.

What’s on This Page

Competitor Ad Tracking

The page shows all advertisers running ads against the prompts you’re tracking in Gauge. For each advertiser, you can see their ad copy and the specific prompts those ads have appeared on. This view also tells you whether you’re already showing up organically in the same answers where a competitor is running a paid ad, helping you understand whether paid placement adds new reach or overlaps with visibility you already have.

Your Campaign Performance

If you connect your OpenAI Ads key, Gauge pulls in your own ChatGPT campaign data. You can see budget, spend, impressions, and clicks alongside calculated metrics like CTR and CPC, across your full campaign list as well as individual ad groups.

Ad-Level Prompt Matching

Clicking into a specific ad shows you the exact prompts where that ad has been found running. This tells you how your targeting is performing in practice and helps you refine which prompts are worth running paid placements against over time.
