# Team Members

> Invite teammates to your Gauge workspace, manage their access, and let people with your company email domain join automatically.

## Team Members

Gauge is built for teams. Adding your teammates lets everyone see the same AI search visibility data, work the [Action Center](/navigating/action-center) together, and collaborate on content without sharing a single login. This page covers how to invite people, remove them, and let anyone with your company email domain join on their own.

Everything here lives under **Settings → People → Team**.

## Inviting Team Members

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Team page">
    Go to **Settings → People** and select the **Team** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter their email">
    Type the person's email address into the field at the top of the page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add them">
    Click **Add to Workspace**. Gauge emails them an invitation with a link to set a password and sign in.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Everyone you've added appears in the team table with their email, status, and join date:

* **Pending** means they've been invited but haven't logged in yet.
* **Active** means they've signed in at least once.

<Note>
  You can invite people before they've ever used Gauge. The invitation email walks them through setting a password, so there's nothing they need to do ahead of time.
</Note>

### Removing a Team Member

To remove someone, click the **X** next to their row and confirm in the dialog. They immediately lose access to your company's data in Gauge, and the action can't be undone. You can always re-invite them later if you need to.

## Roles & Access

Gauge keeps access simple: everyone you add to the workspace is a member with the same access to your organization's data, actions, and content. There are no separate permission tiers to configure, so anyone you invite can view reports and work alongside the rest of your team.

<Tip>
  Because every member has full access, only invite people who should see your organization's data. To take access away, remove them from the team table.
</Tip>

## Auto-Join by Email Domain

Auto-join lets anyone who signs up with an email address at your company's domain be added to your workspace automatically, so you don't have to invite colleagues one at a time. You'll find it in the **Same-domain auto-join** section on the same **Team** page.

Flip the toggle on to enable it. Once it's on, the label shows the domain it applies to (for example, **Anyone with @yourcompany.com**), and new signups from that domain join as members automatically.

<Note>
  To turn auto-join on, you need to be signed in with a work email so Gauge knows which domain to open up. If you signed up with a personal email address (like Gmail), the toggle stays disabled and prompts you to sign in with a work email first.
</Note>

To stop new people from joining this way, switch the toggle back off. Turning auto-join off doesn't remove anyone who has already joined — remove those members individually from the team table if needed.
